Unit 7: November 3-7

Letter of the week: Gg

Gus the Goat
(tune: "If You're Happy and You Know It"

Gus the Goat is a goofy garbage man.
He gobbles garbage straight from the can.

Granny's glasses, garden gloves,
Gum and grapes are what he loves.

Girls and guys all giggle when he eats the can!
The End

Color of the week: Pink

Pink

(tune: "Jingle Bells")

Cotton candy, fat pink pigs,

Girls with socks and bows.

P-i-n-k p-i-n-k

That is how it goes!
Bubble gum, valentines,
These are all pink too.
Pink icing and pink balloons,
We can spell, can you?
The End

With the anticipation of fall harvest and other things, we didn't get to do all that had planned. We ended up finishing Stella Star last week. So this week, we will do Haley Heart... for sure.

Haley Heart
(tune: "London Bridge")

Haley Heart is good to me.
She brings love to all, you see;
Valentines and kisses too;
Hugs for me and you.
Hearts fill us with happiness.
Hearts are what we love to send.
Hearts bring joy to everyone,
So give one to a friend!
The End

We will begin work on the number 4.

Four

Pull down to the fence, slide across the fence, pull down again

to make the number FOUR.

Nursery Rhyme: Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill went up the hill
to fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
and Jill came tumbling after.

Up Jack got and home did trot
As fas as he could caper.
He went to the bed and wrapped his head
with vinegar and brown paper.
The End
